Treeline Launches X-Games AIC

AIC_screenshotTreeline is proud to announce the recent launch of the new X-Games Athlete Information Center. Just a few month ago we partnered with Snow Park Technologies to a create highly interactive event management web application.  Snow Park Technologies is responsible for managing and coordinating pre-event and on-hill information for all of the Winter X-Games snowboard athletes and they decided that setting up a plain old blog or a little information site just wasn’t going to cut it. After some careful planning and a little bit of dreaming we came up with an extremely powerful yet remarkably simple web application with a wide variety of features. Because the application is only for X-Games athletes and event organizers, it is a password protected environment, but we are working on putting together a brief little demo to share with all you kids back home.

…But if you just can’t wait and you need to know more here are just a few of the features of the tool:

  • Event and discipline specific login access so a rider’s entire UI is customized with only the information that he or she needs to know
  • Event schedules with both email and SMS alerts
  • A social wall for communicating with other athletes
  • Live multi-person video chat to host virtual rider meetings
  • A private communications module
  • 3D interactive environments where users can navigate the courses prior to the event
  • Instant text message notification so if something changes during the day of the event, the athletes will be the first to know.
